Max. TBD TBD Functional Role (Job Description) The primary objective of this role is to take responsibility for supporting daily reporting requirements for business. Advanced Reporting / BI activities, Financial Data mining, Financial Data Analysis and Reporting. Profile summary The role is to support APAC team in Data Mining and Analysis as well as supporting the management of BI tool : Designing and creating new reports as well as continue to maintain the current reports. Using skills and experience, the person will design, test and implement reports and dashboards that utilize the underlying data store/warehouse. Looking for an individual, who is forward thinking, enjoys challenges in logical thinking and process improvement, is highly organized and pays close attention to detail. Essential Desirable Education Background Degree in Accounting , Finance, or relevant field Master s Degree preferably in an analytical or business discipline (Accounting / Finance, Computer Science, etc.) : MBA Finance, M. Com BI certifications desirable Work Experience 4:6 years of work experience, preferably in Financial Reporting preferably in IT and/or ITeS company in a Global Environment. Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, SAP BPC, Power BI for data mining, analysis, and visualization. Knowledge of basic accounting principles Key Responsibilities stylemargin:bottom:4.0px: : Database Management : Understanding of database concepts and ability to query databases using power query for retrieving relevant business data. : Financial Acumen : Knowledge of basic accounting principles, financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement), and financial ratios for interpreting and analyzing financial data. : Business Intelligence (BI) Tools : Familiarity with BI tools for creating dashboards, generating reports, and conducting ad:hoc analysis to support business decision:making. : Statistical Analysis : Understanding of statistical concepts and able analysis to derive insights from data. : Data Cleansing and Validation : Skills in cleaning and validating data to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports and analysis. : Data Visualization : Ability to create clear and insightful visual representations of data using charts, graphs, and other visualization techniques to communicate findings effectively. : Forecasting and Trend Analysis : Knowledge of forecasting methods and techniques for predicting future trends based on historical data. : Compliance and Governance : Awareness of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to business reporting, such as GDPR, or industry:specific regulations.
