Hospitality supermarket assistant

As a Hospitality, Supermarket Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their shopping needs, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the store is clean and organized. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesGreet customers and assist with their shopping needs, providing a positive shopping experience.Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels throughout the day.Keep the store clean and organized, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning restrooms, and removing trash.Assist with pricing and labeling of merchandise.Operate cash registers and handle customers cash and credit card transactions accurately.Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting cash drawers and performing end-of-day tasks.Perform other duties as assigned by management.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Prior customer service experience, preferably in retail or hospitality.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
