Job Description:Role: Senior Database EngineerLocation: Gurugram/GurgaonMode: Hybrid (2 day office/week)Notice Period: Immediate to 30 daysRoles Responsibilities:Design data solution on Azure/On-Prem and sometime in collaboration with business/technical partners.Managing Datawarehouse solution on Azure like Databricks, Data Lake and Azure Synapse and more.Develop and test disaster recovery scenario.Implement failover and replication solutions for high availability.Collaborate with developers, system administrators, Network, and other teams to ensure seamless data integration.Plan and execute data migrations or upgrades by aligning with Business and application owner.Works in meticulously with data analysts, and data scientists working on Cloud /On-prem.Monitor database performance and optimize as needed.Create and maintain databases, tables, and schemas.Architecting, Design database complex solution end to end based on business need.Managing, troubleshooting and deployment of database solutions like Azure SQL, MI, Elastic pool, and SQL IAAS platform.Cost Optimization.Patching database server as and when require.Automate deployment of database IAAS and storage and management using tools such as Terraform.Serve as Senior database admin to engineer cloud data platform for adoption at enterprise level, working closely with Security and Compliance organization to define controls.Collaborate with the broader enterprise architecture community to provide input into data strategies and standards.Optimize database platform infrastructure for high availability and scalability.
