Responsibilities:Supports spend category managers in building sourcing plans for the category, ensure right sourcing strategy is followed for negotiated savings, supplanted with year-over-year productivity improvements in TCO while maintaining or improving product quality and supplier service levelsPressure test and approve all sourcing plans getting support from regional team where necessaryMonitor strategy implementation and measure and track internal performance within each spend categoryDrive annual productivity improvements in each spend category Develop expertise in spend categoriesServe as an escalation point for cross-functional issuesAssist senior strategic sourcing managers to develop long-term strategies for their groups of categoriesResponsible for delivery of budget and financial targetsDirects the sustainability and responsible sourcing activities.Attract, develop and retain talent Requirements:Successful, 7+ year track record within Purchasing and Supply ChainPrevious experience with assigned category / spend areaAdvanced sourcing toolkit and supply base managementStrong analytical skillsStrong negotiating skillsWorld class supplier relationship skillsCritical thinkerStrong people leadershipStrong relationship building skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)
