Looking for an experienced Senior Sensor Communication Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced sensor and communication systems for aerospace applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and safety of our aerospace systems through innovative sensor technologies and robust communication systems.Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, and integration of sensor systems for aerospace platforms, including aircraft and drones.Define system requirements and specifications for sensors and communication systems, considering aerospace environmental conditions and regulatory standards.Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate sensor technologies and communication protocols for aerospace applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, avionics engineers, and software developers, to ensure seamless integration of sensor and communication systems.Design and implement signal processing algorithms to extract actionable insights from sensor data, optimizing performance and reliability.Lead testing and validation efforts, including environmental testing, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing, and system integration testing, to verify sensor and communication system performance.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Stay abreast of emerging sensor technologies, communication standards, and aerospace industry trends, driving technological advancements and competitive differentiation.Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and research institutions to explore new sensor technologies and communication solutions.Expertise in sensor technologies relevant to aerospace platforms, such as inertial sensors, GPS/GNSS, radar, LiDAR, and optical sensors.Proficiency in communication protocols commonly used in aerospace systems, includingMIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, Ethernet, and CAN bus.Experience with system engineering principles, including requirements management, risk analysis, and verification/validation.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of solving challenging technical problems in a collaborative environment.Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and influence decision-making.
