What youll do As a Software Engineer youll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and enhancing our cloud:based Finance ,Real estate and sustainability solutions with a focus on architecture and AI integration. Key Responsibilities: Define, co:develop, deliver, and support real estate and sustainability solutions Collaborate with cross:functional teams to translate business requirements into cloud:based architectural designs, incorporating AI solutions Design and implement scalable software solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability in the cloud environment with an AI:driven approach Drive cloud:based system architecture efforts, aligning with industry best practices and integrating AI technologies Assess solutions from SAPs portfolio with an emphasis real estate and sustainability Continuously expand your capabilities in terms of training your skills, growing your knowledge and improving your professional behaviors Always give your best to act according to SAP s How We Run and Lead behaviors Show a high grade of motivation and in realizing solutions and processes in a new environment that is ready to be explored further What you bring Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, studies in sustainability or environmental science are a plus if you also bring a technology background 3+ years of professional experience in an IT, Development, or Consulting environment as consultant and/or developer preferably with a Real estate or /and sustainability focus Solid understanding of SAP Finance and SAP Sustainability solutions and business processes Environmental Management: Knowledge of regulations, frameworks and systems for sustainability, e.g. EU Taxonomy and ESRS, the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and carbon emissions calculation mechanisms is a plus Knowledge about ABAP/ABAP OO or other object:orientated programming language is a must Knowledge and in HANA, CDS (Core Data Services), SQL, SAP ODATA and Web based development skills like SAPUI5, Fiori, Java Script, Node.js is a must Strong interest into SAP Build, SAP Business AI and Cloud capabilities is mandatory Ideally, with experience in one or more of the areas below: ESG Reporting solutions (such as SAP Sustainability Control Tower); Climate Action solutions (such as SAP Sustainability Footprint Management and/or SAP Environment, Health and Safety Management); Circular Economy solutions (such as SAP Responsible Design and Production); Social Responsibility solutions (such as SAP EHS, SAP S/4HANA for Product Compliance; SAP Finance solutions; Analytics or data tools (such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere and PaPM).
