Project Overview: Bechtel is seeking to work with a major Indian corporation to provide Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi:billion:dollar upgrade / expansion of their existing petrochemical facilities in India. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region, the project sites in India, as well as several key contractor locations across India. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel s India offices. Position Summary: Located in Mumbai, providing project supplier quality supervision to a project including participation in project and or shop quality surveillance in accordance with Bechtel Supplier Quality and Expediting Inc. (BSQE), Global Business Unit (GBU) and project procedures. This is a full time position. Job Dimensions: : Supervision Received : Receives operational direction and project guidance for Supplier Quality activities from the Project Procurement Manager : Receives functional guidance from the Regional Supplier Quality Manager. : Supervision Exercised : Provide project:related direction and guidance to Project Supplier Quality Representatives and Area Supplier Quality Specialists. : Contacts : Corresponds administratively with Project Procurement Manager, Functional Manager, the global business unit, BSQE, project Supplier Quality team, project engineering, procurement, quality assurance and construction personnel, and Area Supplier Quality Specialists. : Maintains contact with suppliersand with customers Responsibilities: stylemargin:top:1.0px: : Plan, prepare and administer Quality Surveillance Assignments (QSAs) for source surveillance, surveys and audits as required for project : Coordinate with SQ Regional Managers and Supervisors for the allocation of resources for intended QSAs : Reviews material requisitions including technical specifications with respect to quality requirements. : Assists in the development of the final bid list and the selection of bidder :
