Job Summary: In this role, you will participate in the design, development, and evaluation of electrical components and processes. You will collaborate and support other engineering disciplines for electrical engineering matters. Your professional work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard electrical engineering techniques and criteria will enable you to make impactful contributions to the team. Major Responsibilities: A. Performs electrical discipline work which involves the preparation, interpretation or review of calculations, specifications, electrical layout plans including lighting and grounding systems. B. Participates in one or more of the following: : Smart Plant Electrical (SPEL) : Electrical Heat tracing (EHT) : System design, including concept sketches and layouts : Preparation of specifications and design calculations : Reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by other engineers or by suppliers : Preparation or review of engineering studies and reports : Preparation or review of material quantity estimates : Uses engineering computer aided design/computer aided engineering (CAD/CAE) tools C. Reviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors of a moderate degree of complexity and prepares comments and recommendations. D. Assists in preparation of forecasts, quantity take:offs and change orders. E. Participates in and fosters a work environment that is based upon directness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction Education and Experience Requirements: : A recognized bachelor s/master s degree in engineering, from an accredited college or university with an overall experience of minimum 7 years. : Site experience will be an added advantage. Required Knowledge and Skills: : Technical knowledge of engineering systems, engineering calculations, applications of engineering methods and construction methods and materials, and application of computer aided engineering (CAE)/c
