Lead it and security

Guavus is looking for talented and well:reasoned IT and Security engineer to help strengthen all facets of our security program. The ideal candidate will thrive to ensure all of our software and infrastructure is designed and implemented with best security practices in mind. The candidate is expected to work side by side with our Infrastructure and Solutions team, harden security aspects of our systems and applications and to protect our Intellectual property and user data.The candidate must have experience with evaluating cyber security threats and have knowledge of enterprise security technologies and products. Key Responsibilities: Analyze, troubleshoot, and investigate security:related and information system anomalies and set up alerting mechanisms. Perform design and implement security reviews for different parts of the Guavus ecosystem (Infrastructure/ Internal Applications/ Customer end and Cloud implementations ) Carry out vulnerability scanning, intrusion detection and system/solution hardening. Manage firewall (hardware/software) and related configurations including ACL s, VPN, Authentication, Access. Manage Anti:Virus, Anti:Spam and Active Directory services. Provide reoccurring reports for network and host:based security assessment. Provide incidence response support as needed in response to information security related events. Remain cognizant of emerging security threats and industry best practices, advise the organization of potential risks and threat mitigation techniques. Establish, evolve, document and enforce information security policies, standards and guidelines Working Knowledge: Should know scripting in either Perl/Python OR Java Should have working knowledge of Iptables and hardware firewalls like : Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX Should have working knowledge of Linux, Windows and OS level hardening. Should have knowledge of conducting system audits and using IDS/IPS. Should be aware of Cloud and Security aspects for Cloud. Academic Qualifications: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/M.C.A with at least 6:8 years of Experience Certifications Required : CISA, CISSP , CCNP:Securit
