As a BDM you will be responsible for territory development, generating new business opportunities, and increasing our brand s position in the market. Identify and develop new acquisition sales opportunities within assigned territory through networking and cold calling efforts Define prospects, schedule appointments, and close sales Navigate multiple steps in the sales process with multiple decision:makers demonstrating the ability to influence high:level decision makers Maintain proficiency in products and services and appropriately position our solutions against the competition Accurately assess and analyse customer needs and identify appropriate solutions Prepare and deliver strategic sales presentations Create a strategic business development plan that outlines the level of activities needed to meet territory objectives Functional Skills Required :: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills Proficient in MS Office Strong business acumen with the ability to manage bottom line profitability Knowledge of products, pricing, competition, and sales objectives Ability to succeed in a competitive selling environment Attitudinal Skills Required :: Self:motivated Proactive Time Management Excellent time management and organization skills
