A senior legal manager for one of our esteemed clients for mumbai location

We are looking for a Senior Legal Manager for one of our esteemed Clients forMumbai Location. RESPONSIBILITIES: Keeping updated information on all legal developments in laws relating to the business of the Company. Management of all ongoing litigation of the Company and advice management on the appropriate strategy for dispute resolution. Issuing legal notices and responses to legal notices. Liaise with and manage external lawyers and keep a control on costs incurred in dispute resolution. Liaise with relevant government departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified,appropriate courses of action have been taken. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports of the activities undertaken as part of the role and responsibilities. Build relations with regulatory, academic, and business experts to espouse the commercial interests of the company. Proactive identification of legal risks in the conduct of day to day marketing, procurement, new product launches etc. activities and to provide solutions. General observance of laws in all functions in the company. SKILLS: Sound knowledge of Civil, Criminal, Commercial and Labour Laws. Good knowledge of the dispute resolution processes and forums in India. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Good drafting skills. Solution oriented pragmatic approach with good understanding of commercial implications on the strategy undertaken. Excellent analytical, interpretation and comprehension skills. QUALIFICATIONS: LLB/LLM with over 5 yrs. of experience which should include experience in directly handling dispute resolution/litigation. Must have experience of dispute resolution/litigation in a reputed law firm, litigation practice or corporate house.
