Job Title: Technical Writer: Exp 4:6 years Job Summary : As a Techincal Writer you will help to create to create comprehensive documentation for our Applications which are Web and Desktop based applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear and concise documentation for various audiences. Key Responsibilities: : Documentation Creation: stylelist:style:type:disc: : Develop clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for our web application, including user guides, technical specifications, API documentation, release notes, and other supporting materials. : Content Maintenance: stylelist:style:type:disc: : Ensure documentation is up:to:date with the latest product features, enhancements, and changes. : Collaboration: stylelist:style:type:disc: : Work closely with cross:functional teams including developers, product managers, designers, and customer support to gather information and ensure accuracy of documentation. : User Experience: stylelist:style:type:disc: : Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure documentation is aligned with the overall user experience and interface design. : Accessibility: stylelist:style:type:disc: : Ensure documentation complies with accessibility standards and is accessible to users with disabilities. : Quality Assurance: stylelist:style:type:disc: : Review and edit documentation for accuracy, clarity, and consistency. : User Feedback: stylelist:style:type:disc: : Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve documentation quality and usability. : Training Support: stylelist:style:type:disc: : Assist in the development of training materials and resources for internal teams and end:users. : Knowledge Management : stylelist:style:type:disc: : Contribute to the organizations knowledge base by documenting best practices, troubleshooting tips, and common user questions. : Adherence to Style Guidelines : stylelist:style:type:disc: : Maintain consistency and adherence to company style guidelines, branding, and tone of voice across all documentation. Qualifications : stylemargin:bottom:11.0px: : Bachelor s degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field. : Proven experience as a technical writer, preferably in the software industry. : Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail. : Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs. : Experience with documentation tools such as Oxygen,X:Metal : Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. : Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines. : Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross:functional teams. : Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
