Essential Responsibilities / Expectations : :Design layout in 3D models of equipment, piping, structures and instrumentation in a skid with consideration to: - Provide safe operation and access for operators of the package - Minimise fabrication cost through optimisation of pipe and cable tray routing - Follow international standards and project specifications :Understanding of the fundamental process and mechanical requirements of the company s process packages :Able to spatially conceptualize and translate ideas into design drawings :Familiar with the requirements of Oil and Gas drawings, including normal symbology and the requirement for consistency :Understand the data requirements of drawings being produced to facilitate an efficient fabrication process :Ability to translate technical data into equipment drawings :Familiarity with fabrication practices :Produce detailed drawings for both proposal and project requirements :Ensure that fabrication drawings clearly present information to the shop floor :Resolve issues during fabrication, such as physical clashes :Review drawings produced by others Key Deliverables : Produces documents and drawings in line with the project schedule targets Produces documents and drawings in line with the cost budgets Educational Qualification : Engineering Degree :: Mechanical or equivalent experience 6 years experience in Oil and Gas or related industry We offer competitive compensation and benefits working in a dynamic environment with challenging projects and training provided to ensure your success.
