About our client:My client is an American multinational food manufacturing company headquartered in United States. Responsibilities:Responsible for Plant food safety plan, associated program execution and results.Responsible for Food safety governance process and escalation to regional/global function to ensure it adherence to global policies and procedures.Develops and maintains detailed food safety procedures, Audits against the consistent application and execution to ensure that the procedures are correctly implemented.Responsible for GFSI site accreditation and sets the direction for ongoing FSP verification activities and set the direction of food safety improvement programs and responsible for the execution of relevant programs.Review and update of Food Safety Process for any triggers (innovation, equipment, process, ingredients etc.) and oversight of any projects that may affect food safety (innovation, engineering design, new equipment).Responsible for food safety incident management, RCA and corrective/preventive actions, analysis, and investigation of food safety complaints, incidents.Environmental monitoring program, allergen verification and validation programs and engages technical experts to troubleshoot food safety challenges, identify technology and methodology to improve sanitation effectiveness.Troubleshoots food safety issues to identify deficiencies in sanitation program or equipment design and conducts housekeeping/GMP inspections.Understands process and functional interdependencies, recognize and escalate identified risk or opportunities to improve plant performance and engages the plant leadership team in food safety challenges requiring cross-functional support.Develops and implements all food safety training all employees to ensure that the procedures are properly understood and carried out.Ensure implementation of 7core programsDevelop and maintain G6 walks with proper actions and tracking.Participate in regional required meetings.Ensure compliance with current and future legislation, and Safety requirements.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Science, or Industrial/Production EngineeringExperience 5+ Years in Quality and food safety.Excellent in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power pointStrong knowledge in data analysisStrong communication skills and team leading
