Their core business is manufacturing Civil and Military Rotary-Wing Craft for their clients.Responsibilities: Creating and editing flight-related documents, such as POHs (Pilot’s operating handbook)/Flight manuals and related supplements.Generating content related to aircraft maintenance and continued airworthiness, such as AMMs (Aircraft maintenance manual), ICAs (Instructions for continued airworthiness)Generating/managing design data for end-user purposesDocumenting procedures in production and creating/writing procedure instructions using the data retrievedTranslating technical information into clear, readable documents for technical and/or nontechnical end usersWorking/cooperating with engineers to develop images, drawings, diagrams, charts and technical data needed for supplemental documentationWorking with structured and non structured tech. pub. authoring tools, photo video editing tools and CAD tools Requirements An education in a technical/engineering fieldAn experience from aviation industry (desirable)Excellent technical writing skillsExcellent attention to details and highly methodical approach to internal workflow procedures Deadline-driven and goal-oriented mindsetAbove-average organizational skillsSuperb communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of Technical English or Simplified Technical EnglishThe ability to interpret and convey technical concepts quicklyA working knowledge of structured content authoring tools – XML based (desirable)Understanding of DITA/S1000D/DocBook specificationsUnderstanding of ATA 100/ATA 2200, GAMA and other general aviation-relevant specificationsExperience with Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with Adobe suite software (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc)A keen interest in aviation and anything to do with operation and service of the aircraftPossession of any pilot’s license (desirable)Any knowledge or experience related to aircraft maintenance (desirable)
