Financial accounting and reporting analyst

They are constantly growing by creating new technologies through its Research and Development efforts and branch into new business lines through Investments and Acquisitions.Responsibilities:Perform the End of Month Financial closing processes including the full consolidation of subsidiaries and branch activities and maintain documentation and analysis for audit and compliance purposes.Prepare the statutory financial statement of multiple entities and perform the consolidation as applicable in conformity with applicable standards.Prepare auditor-reviewed quarterly financials for the group of entities under mandate.Manage the audit of multiple entities with external auditors and local managements of respective entities.Draft the Directors Report and coordinate the collection of required information from internal stakeholders.Support periodic preparation of financial and management reporting to management and stakeholders at the parent.Align with Tax Unit for tax compliance activities and supporting the maintenance of the Tax Control Framework.In alignment with Compliance, ensure external compliance with regard to chamber of commerce and Tax reporting. Collaborate and coordinate with Treasury relevant activities (management and reconciliation of banking activities, credit cards, cash forecasts, currency exchanges, hedges…).Perform technical accounting analysis and develop memos for documentation and collaboration of informed decision making.Supporting Investment Management team in accounting areas (purchase price allocation, entity classification, equity accounting, FV…).Maintain the General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, and manage changes in line with policy.Perform periodical tasks relating to the function (reconciliation, reporting, and review).Assist with the coordination of Internal AuditMaintain Internal Control documentation in the best orderRequirements:Bachelor (Master) degree in Accounting with CPA/CA certificate.Big 4 experience is a must.Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately in English.Minimum of 7 years of progressive technical work experience in financial reporting, financial statement preparation and external audit coordination.Strong understanding of IFRS standards and its application.Strong working knowledge of MS Office, advanced skills in Excel.Experience with S4/HANA, SAP Central Finance and BPC is a plus.Good communication and problem-solving skills.About The Workplace:The clients high-performing employees are drawn by the challenging and rewarding professional, technical, and industrial opportunities they offer, and are remunerated accordingly.Their people work on truly world-scale projects, supported by investment in capital and technology that is second to none.And because, as a global energy company, they are faced with addressing some of the world’s biggest technical, logistical, and environmental challenges, they invest heavily in talent development.They have a proud history of educating and training their workforce over many decades.Employees at all levels are encouraged to improve their sector-specific knowledge and competencies through the workforce development program – one of the largest in the world.
