They are constantly growing by creating new technologies through its Research and Development efforts and branch into new business lines through Investments and Acquisitions.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain a deep understanding of project economics for the low carbon hydrogen value chain and low carbon economyRegularly reports and presents to management and applicable teams’ relevant economic analysis, impacts and updates based on project configuration changes and other applicable factorsCarry out end-to-end project economic assessments across the entire value chain, from feedstocks to various end-marketsConduct cost competitiveness and benchmarking of various projects from a feedstock, technology, location and hydrogen carrier perspectiveProvides insights and drives financial and economic assessments and due diligence exercises relating to projects and potential investments, as well as strategic assessments of potential partners and customersAssist in establishing and shaping pricing mechanisms and strategies for low carbon hydrogen and ammoniaDevelop and maintain a deep understanding of technologies and processes for LCH/ammonia and alternatives and different LCH carriersDeveloping generic models and carries out landed cost competitive analysis for LCH/ammonia for our target markets and competition, based on locations, feedstock, technology, hydrogen carriers and different price setsDevelops and runs various financial models for the low carbon hydrogen business, by monitoring and calculating IRR’s, cashflows, NPV’s, cash cost and conducting margin analysisAble to understand and develop profit and loss analysis, as well as understand financial statements and gleaning relevant insights when it comes to competitive assessments and benchmarkingTrain and mentoring junior analyst, while keeping abreast with the market, pricing and industry developments within the low carbon hydrogen businessRequirements:Degree in Economics/Business/Finance/Accounting or engineering related degree. An MBA, or an M.S or PhD in above fields or other advanced professional engineering degree is highly desirable. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) accreditation/registration is highly desirableMinimum of 10-15 years of experience and proven track record in the hydrogen/ammonia related markets, with specialist knowledge and experience of products, derivatives, applications and markets)Strong economic and financial modelling skills and use of MS Excel and other related softwareComfortable with handling and organizing various types of economic and financial dataMust have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills and be willing to transfer implicit knowledge to othersSubstantial background in areas of financial management and economic analysis, commercial law, taxation, investments, banking and forex
