The company serves various markets like legal, risk, compliance, accounting, finance, etc.Position Title: Manager of AnalyticsReports to: VP Marketing BeneluxManages: Approximately 15 full-time employees across 3 teams located in Belgium and the Netherlands (Data Science, Business Intelligence, and Data Management)Role Description:The Director of Analytics is a pivotal role responsible for shaping the data-driven culture.Leading a dynamic team, you will define the strategic direction of the Analytics department, contributing to market forecasts, customer insights, and overall business growth.Additionally, you will spearhead innovations in data and analytics to align with the company s objectives and initiatives.Responsibilities:Stay abreast of market trends in database management, tools, and analytics to provide optimal support to business units.Assume strategic, tactical, and operational oversight of marketing databases, driving selections and analyses to inform business decisions.Contribute to the strategic policy by setting qualitative and quantitative objectives and devising annual plans.Lead and mentor team members, fostering their professional development and ensuring an efficient organizational structure.Analyze and optimize departmental processes and activities to enhance productivity and effectiveness.Cultivate relationships with various business units, facilitating impactful collaborations with the Analytics team.Actively participate in the Marketing Management team, advocating for Analytics and shaping the overall marketing strategy.Requirements:Education:Holds an academic background, preferably a Master s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, economics, or mathematics, or equivalent experience.Experience:Possesses a minimum of 5 years experience in personnel management and talent development, with a preference for leadership experience or familiarity with agile methodologies.Ideally, brings 5-10 years of prior experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.Competencies:Demonstrates a robust business acumen, enabling proactive responses to business needs.Strong communicator and collaborator, adept at engaging with stakeholders in a matrix organization.Exhibits strong leadership skills, inspiring teams with a clear vision and strategy while prioritizing employee growth.Proficient in analytics, with a proven track record of translating complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
