The integration and optimization specialist primary role is to ensure good integration across the various LTC projects and individual units with a focus on integration and optimization opportunities to improve the project economics.Responsibilities:Improving LTC program projects economicsAddressing opportunities aspects relating to integrating the hydrocarbons which are transferred between a refinery and a petrochemicals facility. This would be at different levels including; within same complex and/or with other neighboring facilities.Optimize Refinery Process Flow Fuels BlendingOptimize Steam Cracking Feed Selection, Process Flow and ConfigurationOptimize Aromatics Feed, Products RecoveryIndicate process Interactions at the Refinery/Chemical Plants InterfaceConduct Techno-Economic EvaluationsParticipate in hazard operability (HAZOP) and safety integrity level (SIL) studies as requiredRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related. An advanced degree is preferred.At least 15 years of experience in refining and petrochemicals process units, including at least five years in integration and optimization.
