The company serves various markets like legal, risk, compliance, accounting, finance, etc.The Role:One of our divisions is about to launch a multi-year CPQ implementation program, which will add CPQ to the European Salesforce template which consist already of sales, customer service, marketing, field-service and communities. As a Salesforce CPQ Architect, you will report to the Director Enterprise Software Engineering. You will help design and implement complex CPQ solutions to support our sales processes and ensure seamless quoting and pricing capabilities for our products and services. You will collaborate with teams, including Sales, IT, and Product Management, to guide the successful adoption and optimization of our Salesforce CPQ platform. You will be part of the Salesforce competence center and will make a significant impact and contribute to the success of our organization.Responsibilities:Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce CPQ solutions that align with requirements and goals. Provide technical expertise in translating functional requirements into scalable and efficient CPQ solution.Develop and implement CPQ solutions using industry best practices. Collaborate with development teams to ensure the integrity of the system architecture and adherence to coding standards.Configure and customize Salesforce CPQ application components, including product rules, pricing logic, discounting strategies, and approval processes.Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce CPQ and ERP platforms (SAP Order To Cash).Improve the Salesforce CPQ platform to enhance performance, usability, and user experience. Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development the competence center. Guiding the team in implementing best practices and ensuring the delivery of CPQ projects.Create detailed technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, and user guides.Collaborate with (business) partners, to gather requirements, understand business processes, and create solutions that meet their needs.Requirements:Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master s preferred).At least 7+ years experience as a Salesforce Architect, with 5+ years experience delivering complex CPQ solutions.In-depth knowledge of Salesforce CPQ functionality, configuration, and customization capabilities.Experience with Salesforce architecture and integration patterns.Salesforce CPQ certification.Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other relevant Salesforce technologies.Experience translating requirements into technical solutions.Effective collaboration skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical partners.
