They are constantly growing by creating new technologies through its Research and Development efforts and branch into new business lines through Investments and Acquisitions.Role Description:We are currently seeking a highly skilled Materials Advisor to join the Planning Performance Management Division (PPMD) of our Technology Oversight Coordination department. PPMD plays a crucial role in providing centralized shared services to our renowned R D organization.Responsibilities:As a Materials Advisor, you will play a key role in managing various aspects of materials procurement and related processes. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Timely processing of material requests.Utilizing SAP Material Management (MM) Module for efficient workflow.Developing justifications and recommendations for requested materials.Establishing procedures related to materials procurement.Expediting the delivery of ordered materials.Cataloging items and maintaining accurate records.Reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Supporting knowledge transfer and team development through coaching and guidance.Developing high-level presentations for management.Negotiating with third parties as part of negotiating teams.Reviewing technical specifications of requested materials and providing guidance to proponents.Preparing materials forecasting.Requirements:To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering from a recognized and approved program (advanced degree preferred)Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the areas specified in the Position Description.Proven ability to influence internal and external senior and executive management.Strong sense of accountability and determination to achieve goals and objectives.If you are a qualified and experienced professional seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we invite you to apply for this position.
