They support their clients in completing your projects on time, on budget and to the highest quality.Responsibilities:Provide full quantity surveying and cost management services for major new build critical facility projects.Experience with large data centers, advanced pharma plants, nuclear power sites, heavy infrastructure, energy / power.Develop baseline cost estimate for all building systems – electrical, mechanical, structural, technology, security, site works.Produce detailed measured quantities from BIM, drawings, specifications to derive labor/material/equipment costs.Prepare escalation clauses and factors into cost plan based on projected market conditions.Manage cost reporting and change control processes supporting capital approvals.Continuously track actual costs against budget; perform cost forecasting and “cost to complete” modelling.Identify cost overruns or savings; deliver quantitative risk analysis using stochastic estimating methods.Lead value engineering initiatives to align budget with design and construction modifications.Benchmark costs against past critical facility projects constructed globally.Ensure cost estimates and reports meet quality guidelines and regulatory standards.Conduct in-depth market analysis on factors impacting pricing - materials, currency shifts, labor wage inflation, etc.Enable accurate cost control and maximize value delivery within authorized budget.Requirements:Bachelor s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management/Economics.MRICS or similar accreditations.10+ years of cost management experience in critical facility construction (over $500mn value).Advanced user of cost estimating software tools such as CostX.
