Geotechnical engineer offshore onshore

They are constantly growing by creating new technologies through its Research and Development efforts and branch into new business lines through Investments and Acquisitions.Responsibilities : Conduct analysis and design of offshore/onshore geotechnical structures using geotechnical analysis software such as Plaxis, Slope W, APILE.Perform design review of engineering packages prepared by others in support of ongoing Capital and Maintain Potential projectsDevelop and interpret code and standard requirements for offshore/onshore geotechnical designsAssess and carry out geotechnical analysis, including offshore and onshore structuresParticipate in Engineering Standard development and reviewsConduct vendor technical assessments for geotechnical commoditiesConduct geotechnical inspections and assessments of existing structuresSupport ongoing Innovation/Technology programs and strategic initiativesAssess new and emerging technologies for civil/geotechnical applicationsAct as a professional mentor to developing geotechnical engineers and specialistsRequirements : A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering. A Master’s Degree or PhD in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering desired but not requiredMinimum eight (10) years of professional engineering design experienceProfessional Engineering or Chartered Engineering CertificationFamiliarity with geotechnical design standardsProficient in geotechnical engineering design software (Plaxis, Slope W, APILE)
