They are constantly growing by creating new technologies through its Research and Development efforts and branch into new business lines through Investments and Acquisitions.Responsibilities: Lead and recommend new continuous improvement solutions for installations or modifications to improve existing facilities and standardization within substation equipment field.Lead the activities of project proposal that includes development of scope, functions, interrelationship, integration, physical solution definition, cost estimate, etc.Plan, schedule, and provide work direction for preparation of designs, processes, reports, correspondence and related data and assures the efficiency, adequacy and conformance to overall objectives of challenging engineering problems.Formulate the basis for engineering studies in any of several basic or special engineering fields by analyzing and evaluating all relevant data.Evaluate data as to scope, effect on existing installations, economic value, and long-range planning and budgetary considerations.Initiate detailed work outline and makes decision as to basic approaches, processes and/or equipment.Perform work and/or delegate work to other engineers for final development of specialized or technical proposals and proposed projects.Review recommendation from vendors, engineering firms, and licensors.Develop scope and description of technology items, and leads the implementation and operation of developed solutions in the field.Conduct peer-review of technical reports and reviews work of third party, project designs, technology reports, and engineering standards.Mentor and train younger Engineers in the field of Substation Equipment.Requirements: B.S. in engineering. M.S. or other advanced professional engineering degree is highly desirable.Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or registration is highly desirable.At least Ten (10) years of professional experience, including years as an engineer in responsible charge of technical work in his field of specialty, that includes experience in sizing, construction, installation and commissioning of high voltage electrical equipment, such as switchgears, motor starter, and transformer equipment, in addition to factory acceptance testing.Recognized by Engineering Services as an expert in his field.Preferably have published papers in technical journals.Must have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills and be willing to transfer implicit knowledge and teach courses to specialists and engineers in the field, preferably have published papers in technical journals.
