Senior oracle application developer

Responsibilities:• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Forms and Reports applications• Work closely with technical leads, analysts and developers to design and implement database solutions within a structured development process• Work with other developers and stakeholders to ensure that applications meet the needs of the business Troubleshoot and debug Oracle Forms and Reports applicationsQualifications:• Minimum 8 years of expertise in 2-tier and n-tier Client/Server Technology. • Minimum 6 years’ experience in developing complex clinical applications and interfaces is mandatory• Experience in developing hospital information systems, running in multiple well known heath care facilities should be proven.• Deep knowledge in the regulatory requirements related privacy, confidentiality and security of the patient healthcare and clinical data (e.g. HIPAA) is a must.• Minimum 6 years’ experience in developing custom Oracle development extensions to the Oracle Developer Applications, across modules• Minimum of 6 years’ experience developing and maintaining forms and Reports using Oracle Forms and Reports Developer, Object Library, SQL and PLSQL with oracle development style, best practices and design patterns.• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oracle 11g/10g/9i database application development• Experience with cross-platform and cross-database projects.• Working experience in open source databases (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL ) is an advantage.• Minimum 5 years’ experience is Agile Software Development Processes and methodologies like SCRUM, KANBAN, and XP etc.• Experience with handling complex concurrency, performance, scalability and Internationalization issues.• Expertise in building reusable application Frameworks and core application Infrastructure components using design patterns and knowledge in Internet application development concepts and best practices• In-depth Knowledge in Data Conversion and Migration Issues and proven experience in large scale data and application migration projects.• Experience in designing, developing and maintaining web-enabled applications in an Oracle 11g/10g/9i Database and 10g/9i Application Server and Developer Suite Environment.• Conceptual skill sin DBA and Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence are added advantages.• Proven working experience in Linux Operating system experience is required• In-depth knowledge in Health Information and Communication Standards like HL7, CDA, ICD, DICOM, ASTM, SNOMED, LOINC, etc. is mandatory.• Working experience in Medical Imaging and DICOM image integration projects is a strong advantage.• Experience in building HL7 and RS-232 interfaces between heterogeneous systems in an advantage.
