What role you will play in our team Responsibilities for this position are to provide technical guidance for fired equipment (fired heaters, boilers/HRSGs, flares, thermal oxidizers) design, operation, troubleshooting, optimization, monitoring and reliability improvements across the global fleet for ExxonMobil businesses. The location of this job is the ExxonMobil Bengaluru Technology Center in Bengaluru India. This position includes domestic and international travel to support projects and producing/manufacturing facilities. What you will do : Support design, operation, troubleshooting, optimization, monitoring and reliability improvements for fired equipment. : Participate in Turnaround or Shut:down support at a site. : Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, HAZOPs, vendor qualification, and vendor bid evaluations. About you Skills and Qualifications : Bachelor of Science Degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from recognized university : Minimum 7 years of work experience in fired equipment design and engineering in Oil and Gas Industry : Broad and extensive knowledge of industry fired equipment design standards, specifications, codes and appropriate safety criteria including, API and NFPA. : Multiple prior assignments that provide a variety of exposure to global oil and gas operations : Detailed knowledge of fired equipment design andconstruction. : Experience with heat transfer design and analysis software for firedequipment. : Strong analytical and heat transfer engineering skills : Strong technical skills in design and troubleshooting of firedequipment. : Experience in Combustion design, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and environmentalemissions. : Burner management systems and control systems for firedequipment. : Materials for tubes, supports and refractories. : Experience with project support, engineering surveillance and shopinspections. : Worked as lead fired equipmen
