In one sentence You will build and own the Network automation platform architecture working closely with Product management and development teams What will your job look like? :Install and test new versions of the database management system (DBMS) :Maintain data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act :Ability to monitor and tune queries for performance :Manage the security and disaster recovery aspects of a database. :Provide expertise advice on DBMS for R and D All you need is... : Ability to breakdown the business requirements into an underlying scalable/secure application design. : Strong database fundamentals and has experience dealing with database performance tuning, bottlenecks and database ER modelling, databases (PostgreSQL) : Expertise in PostgreSQL Database internals. : Create SQL to PostgreSQL migration approach, estimate it, technically manage it : Creating and Managing PostgreSQL Databases, Schema handling, User roles and Security related permission, Index Management, Partitioning and System Catalogs : Backup and Recovery : Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues. : Strong knowledge of database recovery models, high:availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR). : Writing shell script for PostgreSQL. : AWS RDS/ Aurora experience : Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server experience : Cassandra or any other NoSQL Database experience.
