Summary: Structural Engineer with Bachelor s/ Master s Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed Institute with more than 12 years of experience in estimation, engineering co:ordination, front end and detaileddesign of structures/ foundations for large industrial projects.Candidate should have worked in an engineering office or consultancy of repute performing relevant work.Candidate should have exposure to Indian, US, Euro and other foreign codes/standards and local practices.Candidate should have exposure to 3D modeling and viewing tools such as PDS, Frameworks, S3D, Tekla, Naviswork, SPR and shall be proficient in use of industry standard Structural and Finite Element Analysis package such as STAAD Pro, GTStrudl, SAP, ETABS, Midas etc.Candidate s exposure to modular/ precast construction, design of Flat slab/Cheese slab will be an added advantage. Essential Job Duties: : Prepares or assists in preparation of conceptual studies, designs, reports or proposals, design criteria, specifications, budget and schedules for projects of varying complexity. : Perform the finite element modeling and structural analysis of various steel and concrete structures. : Reviews bid analyses and makes recommendation. : Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of cost estimates, quantity take:offs and staffing requirements for proposals, forecasts and change orders. : Reviews and checks work of junior team members and provides input for their performance evaluation. Job Knowledge: : Possesses a broad understanding of the major design engineering deliverables. : Plans, conducts and coordinates detailed phases of engineering work. : Performs work that involves conventional engineering practice but may include complex features such as resolving conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials and/or difficult coordination requirements. : Performs work using Standard Application Programs and appropriate computer aided design and computer aided engineering (CAD and CAE) tools. : Coordinates engineering effort in assigned areas between specialty and other engineering g
