SEMICONDUCTOR and ASSEMBLY SOLUTIONS (SAS) As a global supplier to the semiconductor industry, we provide advanced copper interconnects, die attachment, wafer bump processes, solder technologies, fluxes, cleaners, and other attachment materials for the integrated circuit fabrication, semiconductor packaging, and electronic assembly industries. Our products touch nearly every facet of modern life and enable smart devices, phones, computers, electric vehicles, and more to function properly. SAS consists of three distinct business units (Circuit Board Assembly, Semiconductor Assembly, and Wafer Level Packaging) which are positioned to meet our customers ever:changing needs. We operate globally, employ over 2,500 employees, and represent a 1.2BN (and growing) business. Job Purpose The role of Business Development Manager for SAS is to be the expert for specific technologies and applications related to break through strategic initiatives and use that knowledge and expertise to drive business in close collaboration with the sales teams. Furthermore, this role coordinates all activities with LOB and Applications centers to win the business. Job Responsibilities 1.To drive the creation, implementation, and execution of the regional business development strategy of power electronics segment for East China region, North and West China region under responsibility, by working closely with business units, SA, Sales management team in alignment with company growth strategies. 2.Become and maintain the expert on our power electronics solutions : especially Argomax(R) sintering portfolio and solder preforms to be able to drive the sales of these products in defined market, customer, or application segments based on deep technical insights. 3.Takes the lead in driving, coordinating, prioritizing and supporting sales opportunities and together LOB decides and sales. 4.Be the main contact person/interface between the region and the line of business and Application centers. 5.Be the trusted advisor for customers building long term relationships along with the sales teams. 6.Drive and support the value sell of our solutions and translate that to real customer value. 7.Advice, supports with, and addresses customer qualification and implementation issues for area of responsibility. 8.Where needed train selected salespeople on the how to sell of these products/technologies under care with focus on recognizing opportunities and the value that our solutions bring. 9.Leverage the sales teams to generate sales leads and expand the customer base, markets and/or applications. 10.Continuously works on developing self and others in the best interest of the company Requirements and Qualifications stylemargin:bottom:11.0px: : Engineering degree, at minimum bachelor in Chemicals, Mechanics, Electronics, Materia
