Responsibilities: : Detail structural frame in 3D models to match supports of equipment, piping, and instrumentation in a skid with consideration to: : Structural analysis output / Good Engineering practice : Minimize fabrication cost by optimizing the supports / bracings/ choosing correct joint configurations by liaising with Structural Engineer / 3D Modelers. : Follow International standards and project specifications : Understanding of the fundamental process, mechanical and structural requirements of the company s process packages : Familiar with the requirements of Oil and Gas drawings, including normal symbology and the requirement for consistency : Understand the data requirements of drawings being produced to facilitate an efficient fabrication process : Ability to translate technical data into structural drawings : Familiarity with fabrication practices : Produce detailed drawings for both proposal and project requirements : Ensure that fabrication drawings clearly present information to the shop floor : Resolve issues during fabrication, such as physical clashes : Review drawings produced by others.
