Product development manager 8 10 years kuwait based retail giant

We are looking for a Product Development Manager for one of our esteemed Clients for BangaloreLocation. RESPONSIBILITIES: The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to: Responsible for defining, assigning and controlling work tasks within their own area of accountability. This could be multi:site or an area of a department of a support function. Takes ownership for achieving results through effective management of their teams and collaboration with others. Has shared responsibility for planning and monitoring /managing performance indicators. Assesses options and selects solutions on a day to day basis within own results area:advises others. Recommends new ways of working and encourages continuous improvement. Expertise in design and development of Ecommerce Web Applications using PHP, XML, and open source platforms like Magento, Magento 2.0 Preffered. Exposure in Mobility space : android , iOS application development. Experienced working in Agile/Scrum/KANBAN Environment. Good understanding of OOPs concepts in PHP, Object Oriented Design (OOAD), Design Patterns, MVC. Extensive experience in using MySql with PHP and database concepts. Experience of end:to:end implementation of projects. Should have experience in all aspects of Website Development Life Cycle and Production troubleshooting. Define and prioritize the product development roadmap together with the management. Conceptualize and prototype new ideas and features for the website and iOS/Android apps. Ensure adherence to defined development life cycle, good software design practices, and Architecture strategy and intent. Deliver eCommerce and mobile platform and architecture recommendations based on project requirements and industry best practices. Solutions to software architecture, design, development and QA best practice. Requirement: Expert understanding of eCommerce and mobile solutions. Experience in Understanding of custom Plugins and their implementation. Extensive experience and hands:on knowledge of underlying technologies of UI and Cloud. Understanding of SEO, Analytical tools . Knowledge of Magento and open source mobile development SDK is desirable. Experience: Minimum 9 years solid software development experience including managing multiple product development streams Qualifications Bachelors or Masters engineering degree. Extensive experience in PHP programming and web application development using open source technologies, XML, SOAP, SQL, HTML, CSS, Java Script, JQuery, AJAX, Rest. Extensive experience in data modeling, design and architecture of software solutions. Extensive experience in agile development and preferably Scrum Master certified. Experience in configuring and working with Apache, NGINX application servers. Experience in developing application frameworks and integrating with open source solutions. Skills: Demonstrated Management in design and development of scalable, highly available, distributed applications using PHP. Hands:on design and programming experience on Languages and APIs :PHP, XML, SOAP, SQL, HTML, CSS, Java. Script, JQuery, AJAX, Rest Operating Systems : Windows XP/7 , Linux Web Servers : Apache 2.2, Nginx Development Tools : Easy Ecilipse for PHP, Edit Plus, Notepad++, PsPad Editor, NetBeans Source Control Tools : SVN, Tracking Tools : JIRA Frameworks and Opensource : Magento, Zend, OsCommerce, CakePhp Database : MySQL, Oracle, SQL Demonstrated experience with application performance optimization and driving performance efficiencies. Extensive experience in Code version control systems and continuous integration systems/continuous delivery tools: Jenkins,Vagrant etc.
