Job Description of Lab Technician: Perform routinelabtest as per Standard Operating Procedures. To check internal and external quality of the specimen. To perform calibrations and running of controls.To incorporate result entry of the test. To ensure daily maintainence and functioning of the instruments. To maintain records of all the reports. Maintain proper storage of specimens. Should ensure alllaboratory safety precautions in handling of clinical specimens and running of tests. The Scientific Officer must bring to the notice of his / her section supervisor any abnormal findings / test conditions required for specific attention of the supervisor.
