Network Programing experience on TCP/IP, UDP, IPV 4/6, ICMP V4/6, Socket Programming (TCP, UDP), Advanced sockets, Client server programming, RAW socket conceptual understanding and programming Extensive programming experience in C/C++ and scripting exp in Shell, Python and Ansible:Playbook. Hands on experience in the Ubuntu, CentOS and experience on changing the BIOS and BMC as per specifications. Strong knowledge of operating systems and experience in Linux operating system and packages like DHCP, NFS and PXE:Boot. Hands on experience in networking concepts (VLANs, VPN, iptables, dnsmasq, tunneling, overlay networking, layer 4:7 services, topology discovery, path computation, etc.); Hands on experience dealing with Linux set:up, configuration, bootloader/Firmware, Linux BSP and SDK and Knowledge of ATCA, IPMI highly desirable. Working experience in the data:center infrastructure set:up, configuration, validation and deployment is highly desirable. Mandatory skill for the Lead and Architect positions. Exposure and experience on the compute servers like Intel S2600TP, server chassis like Intel Server Chassis H2000G (H2216XXKR2), HP switches and storage devices/servers is highly desirable. Knowledge of Cumulus linux for switches ( OS installation, licensing, port configuration ) and CoreOS for servers is desirable. Exposure to software/system Architecture principles and ability to work as part of a team to solve complex technical problems Experience in good implementation practices including good design documentation, code reviews, build processes, test automation and debugging skills. Knowledge on source control management and system operations. Knowledge on Modeling using higher level design tools is desirable Qualifications: BE/BTech, or ME/MTech or BSc+MSc in Computer Science/ Electronics/Telecom 2 :15 years of experience in software development in most of the technical areas as stated above Excellent verbal and written communication skills especially in design specifications and product requirements. 2:5 years for Engineers, 5 : 10 for lead Engineer and over 10 for the architect. Ability and skill to effectively and productively engage with customers and technology partners Ability and skill to effectively technically lead/mentor less experienced software engineers Excellent interpersonal interactions skills in a team work environment Excellent analytical skill and critical thinking.
