Quality engineer 6 8years immediate joiners

Essential Functions and Basic Duties :- Lead the Software Quality Assurance (SQA) effort on major products/releases.- Create comprehensive test schedules, detailing test cases, test plans, and consolidate and report test results.- Utilize latest Microsoft technologies to design and maintain automation for both existing and new products.- Establish test environments for automation activities.- Monitor and track test coverage and key metrics.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, ensuring repeatability and efficiency.- Act as a technology champion/mentor, collaborating with team members to effectively leverage new technology for building robust automation.- Interact with various departments to gather and understand business requirements.- Ensure a strong commitment to on-time, quality delivery of all projects and deliverables.- Demonstrate assertiveness and willingness to escalate issues when a project/task is negatively impacted.Qualifications :- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field, or equivalent experience.- 5+ years of experience working in an SQA Test Engineer role on software development projects.- 5+ years of programming experience with languages such as C/C++/C# or Java.- Proficiency in test automation for both GUI (HTTP/XML, Java, web services) and non-GUI applications (API, databases).- Familiarity with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and SQL, with preference for SQL Server.- 3+ years of test automation experience using at least one commercial or open-source test tool, with preference for Selenium or Ready API.- Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, Azure DevOps (AZDO), JIRA, and Confluence.- Experience working with distributed teams is advantageous.- Familiarity with iterative development and agile methodologies.EH S Requirements :- Adhere to the EH S Policy and relevant regulatory and company EH S rules and requirements.- Promptly report to supervision any conditions or practices that are unsafe or may adversely impact the environment.- Participate in scheduled EH S training programs.- Actively support the organization s efforts to meet or exceed EH S goals and plans.- Recommend and support improved EH S practices.
