Apply now About the Role As a Release Readiness Program Manager, you will engage with an experienced cross:disciplinary staff to drive Business Network readiness program ensuring internal and external customers are prepared for a product releases. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. The person filling this position must be pro:active and possess a desire to succeed in a challenging environment. Strong leadership, communications, and team:building skills are essential. This position will spend most of their time managing the release readiness program ensuring a successful new solution launch. What youll do : Lead the program management activities for specific releases. : Ensure all aspects of Solution Life Cycle from Planning to Release are appropriately defined and tracked. : Define and drive New Product Readiness (NPR) / New Product Introduction (NPI) activities. : Ensure all internal and external stakeholders understand impact of new releases. : Works closely with each stakeholder team to maintain and enhance solution readiness deliverables. : Ensure (1) readiness tasks are defined, (2) dependencies, timelines and owners are identified, (3) issues are escalated and resolved, and (4) release readiness plans are firmly communicated and managed. : Continually review the release readiness framework to ensure learning/process improvements are realized and higher quality releases are achieved. : Be the expert on release readiness life cycle processes and champion process best practices, metrics and high:quality standards. : Independently and accurately report on the state of your release to executive stakeholders. Be the trusted speaker on the state of release in key checkpoint reviews. : Make constant assessment of feature pipeline, work done and work quality to support decision making on release delivery schedule. : Assist teams in establishing clear commitments to stakeholders and help hold the teams accountable for meeting these commitments. What you bring : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and 10 years of experience required. Advanced Degree preferred. : Demonstrated ability to effectively lead concurrent complex projects/programs with geographically dispersed teams. : Demonstrated customer management skills. : Experience in product launches and/or release management and/or process management. : Strong organizational skills : Demonstrate a consistent ability to act independently on project work. : Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. : Ability to prioritize work based on business requirements and effectively escalates issues where appropriate. : Evidenced ability to build support for ideas; credible enough in the role to influence highly intelligent and highly technical team members. : Experience modifying and/or defining processes rather than applying what exists today. : Self:driven and with a general interest in new things. : PMI certification is preferred.
