Important : After Applying , Check Inbox or Spam Folder For Next Steps.The Data Analyst will present and communicate data in a way that allows institutional faculty, staff, andleadership to develop insights regarding key metrics to develop actionable steps to improve outcomesfor the communities and people.Essential Job DutiesCollect, prepare, and report data with accompanying analysis of data for internal use.Write queries to retrieve data from student information systems and other institutional datasources and databases.Maintain calendar of required reports, responsible personnel, and due dates, assuring thatreports are completed in a timely manner.Create and maintain various data visualizations and other business intelligence tools to analyzeinstitutional effectiveness and support data-informed decision making.Compile and maintain reports generated by other offices on campus.Work with the Information Services division regarding the capture of key data elements fromthe student information system (SIS; currently using Jenzabar).Perform other related duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator.Required Knowledge, Skills AbilitiesBachelor s Degree in related fieldTwo years of experience in a similar environment preferred but candidates with lessexperience considered on a case-by-case basisSkilled in data analysis (evaluation trends and measures of association)Skilled in preparing and modeling data setsSkilled in planning and organizing work activities while managing multiple projects concurrently.Attention to detailKnowledge of effective measures use to ensure the accuracy, validity, and reliability of data.Communication and collaboration skills required to share information in both written and oral Powered by Webbtree
