You will utilize a variety of technologies to provide a scalable, reliable foundation for organizations to store, process, and analyze large volumes of data.In this role, you will:Learn to design and build data pipelines for common business use casesDevelop and maintain data processing workflowsDesign and develop data visualizationsLearn and apply machine learning techniques to data analysisIdentify opportunities for automation and process improvementResearch and implement best practices for data governance and securityContribute to documentation and knowledge sharing activities to ensure that the team s work is well documented and accessible to othersParticipate in sprint planning and agile development processesMinimum requirements for the role:Current student pursuing a Bachelor s or Associate s degree in engineering, computer science or related field (3.0+ GPA)Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or ScalaFamiliarity with query languages such as SQL or KQLUnderstanding of data structures and algorithmsInterest in data engineering and data analysisStrong technical aptitude and desire for continuous learningEffective time management skills and strong attention to detailAn ideal candidate also has:Hands-on expertise with SQL for use in data access, discovery and analysisExperience with data modeling and data architectureAbility to design and implement scalable, efficient data pipelines and workflowsUnderstanding of machine learning concepts and toolsFamiliarity with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud PlatformExperience with Databricks, H20, Power BI, Tableau Powered by Webbtree
