Job Description for Senior Juniper Network engineer Experience: 8+ years Location: Remote Essential Functions • Primarily working with Juniper Switching and Routing; HPE Aruba and Extreme to a lesser degree • Perform network assessments, audits and create network design documents • Work closely with the network architecture team to ensure designs meet the business and technical requirements of clients • Provide Tier 3 level support for escalated network issues • Act as a subject matter expert for Juniper products and technologies • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to routing, switching, security, and other Juniper-related technologies • Develop and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures for Juniper network infrastructure • Continuously monitor network performance and provide recommendations for optimization and improvement • Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to Juniper network solutions Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities • Performs On-call rotation with team members Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Juniper network solutions • Expertise in Juniper routers, switches, firewalls, and security technologies • Extensive knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and MPLS • Strong experience with Juniper Security technologies including SRX firewalls, IPSec VPNs, and SSL VPNs • Experience with Juniper QFabric and EX Series switches • In-depth understanding of network virtualization technologies such as VRF, VXLAN, and MPLS VPNs • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Juniper certifications such as JNCIP-ENT, JNCIP-SEC, JNCIP-SP, JNCIE-ENT, JNCIE-SEC, JNCIE-SP are a requirement Softskills • Good communication skills • Good knowledge of Excel and emails • Flexible to work night shift Powered by Webbtree
