Experience required: 3 Years Education level: All education level Job function: Manufacturing Industry: Machinery Compensation: $51,000 - $100,000 Total position: 1 Relocation assistance: NoCLIENT NAME: , manufacturer of high-quality tools and equipment for the saw and milling industries.MUST HAVES: At least 3 years of relevant maintenance experience working on and repairing machinery and mechanical equipment, including systems such as engines, electric motors, pneumatic tools, production machinery/tools, and other such equipmentMust possess a current Massachusetts driver’s licenseMust be willing to join the United Steelworkers Union Local 513-3 as a memberRESPONSIBILITIES:Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repairTroubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairsPlan repair work using blueprints or equipment manual as neededPerform general repairs that do not require a specialized technicianOrder supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenancePerform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machinesThoroughly clean machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessaryOil and lubricate moving parts on machines to ensure effective performanceRecord and report damaged, worn, or broken partsInstall replacement parts for machinesSolve mechanical and hydraulic issues on various production equipment, (dis)assemble/install new machines, troubleshoot mechanical equipment breakdowns, and similarClean, organize, maintain, and stock inventory.
