Experience required: 2 Years Education level: Vocational Job function: Management Industry: Medical Devices Compensation: $61,000 - $90,000 Total position: 1 Relocation assistance: NoCLIENT NAME: (medical products and procedures educational company)MUST HAVES:Bachelor’s degree and/or Completion of Surgical Technician CertificationExperience and knowledge of surgical instrumentation and equipmentKnowledge of whole body anatomy and able to work with cadaveric tissueAbility to work nights, weekends, and be on call as needed.Exceptional organizational skillsExcellent customer service skillsAble to move/lift between 50-100 pounds, depending on assignment requirementsAble to stand for long periods with frequent squatting, twisting, bending, kneeling and reaching to prepare equipment or lab setup/breakdownRESPONSIBILITIES:Lead the organization of educational lab events according to client specificationsGreet clients, assist with registration, and direct guests according to agenda or specific needs.Setup, assist clients, and/or troubleshoot AV system.Troubleshoots and reports equipment/instrumentation problems to Lab Coordinator/Lead Tech.Provide assistance throughout the lab event with equipment, instrumentation needs, and other requests by clients.Set up/break down of lab events, including all equipment, AV needs, instrumentation, positioning and draping of tissue, and proper repackaging and shipping of equipment and tissue.Act as customer liaison to clients throughout the event providing any needed equipment, instrumentation and other needs as requested.Proper handling and processing of tissue.Records information throughout the lab, such as equipment used, procedures performed and other items as requested by Lead Tech or Supervisor.General lab housekeeping as needed.Launder scrubs, drapes, etc, as needed.Follow infection control and safety guidelines wearing appropriate PPE and lead at all times when equipment in useHelp guests with PPEAssist with setting up labs, lifting, and positioning tissueHelp with post-lab cleanup, including tissue processing, disinfecting of tables, equipment, etc, turning off equipment, taking out trash, and other duties as assigned by Lab Coordinator/Lead Tech.Scheduling lab personnel shift for contractorsOther projects as assigned by SupervisorThis is a full time position with availability required in evenings and weekends as needed.
