Responsibilities also includEstablish, lead and mentor the MES Center of Excellence teamDevelop industry best practices and whitepapers for MES in the life science and manufacturing industriesLead the internal and external training programAccumulates and/or generates methodology, lessons learned, templates, efficiency tools, etc. to streamline project executionDevelop strategic MES channel relationshipsManage and develop client relationshipsResponsible to work with clients to develop technical assessment and design solutions to improve their manufacturing systems and maximizing overall business valueLead the MES platform evaluation and selectionDevelop project proposals including detailed sections for scope, schedule, and budgetAssist in closing new business by gaining the confidence of owner with technical knowledge and experienceResponsible for engineering related purchasing and subcontractor requirementResponsible for development of costs and proposal of change orders to contract scopeResponsible for the design, implementation, documentation, testing, commissioning, and qualification of the MES projectTechnical writing including project definition and requirements, clearly delineated status reporting, process control sequence of operations, standard practices and procedures, scope of supply, requests for information, customer correspondence and code commentingAssigns work to meet overall project deadlinesEnsures that all project team members clearly understand the scope of WM engineering responsibilitiesServe as subject matter expert for all systems and projects developed and maintained by the MES teamEnsures compliance with all regulations, codes, etc. as they apply to the contract and project(sResponsible to establish a safe and inclusive working cultureTravel may be required to support various project deployments and trainingQUALIFICATIONSEducation – At a minimum BS degree in engineering or related discipline (Computer Science, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering degree preferred).
