Examples include revenue recognition, leases, sale / leaseback, derivatives, guarantees and indemnifications, exit and disposal activities, foreign currency matters, business combinations and divestitures, impairments, etc.Engage with external audit partners to review and clear technical accounting matters.Collaborate with multiple functions and departments including Treasury, Tax, Legal, FP A, Business controllers to ensure accurate financial accounting and reporting.Analyse new accounting guidance from the FASB, SEC and other regulatory bodies, including evaluating the impact of new guidance on the Company’s financial statements and implementing new accounting standards, as required.Assist in the preparation and review of all SEC filings, including annual and quarterly reports and other required form filings to ensure accuracy of data presented.Provide guidance and updates to key company personnel including CEO, CFO, and Corporate ControllerYour Qualification Profile: BS Accounting/Finance (MBA a plus)Previous experience working in a manager type role is strongly preferredCPA requiredThorough understanding of US GAAP and SEC ReportingKnowledge of IFRS a plus7+ years of experience with Big 4 or industry related experience in an accounting policy roleStrong oral and written skillsSelf-directed and accountableExperience with M A a plusStrong analytical skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasksWorks well in teams with an ability to interact at all levels of the organization.Candidates must live within a commutable distance to the Wilmington, DE corporate site and be willing to work a flexible hybrid schedule.
