Assists in working with other less experienced assemblers.Responsibilities:Reads and follows assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures and specifications used in the manufacturing of PCBsIdentifies by sight workmanship and material defects in touch-up and assembly areas and may be able to suggest basic changes to the work instructions to improve operations in these areasPerforms tasks with a high degree of care and attention to details while maintaining a clean and safe work environmentAssembles electronic components, assemblies, and modules by working from samples, visual aids, wiring lists and process sheetsMaintains accurate material control within the work areaPerforms inspection of own work in immediate working unitParticipates in providing timely feedback to other operations, management and support engineering, as appropriateFollows and maintains accurate process documentationAssemble PCBs of an intermediate complexityMay use a variety of tools to perform tasksServe as a mentor to lesser skilled employeesOther information:1+ years of experience in hardware and/or simple optics assembly type activitiesAbility to read, write and perform basic mathAbility to use hand tools and associated devices to manufacture PCBs and other electronic assembliesAbility to learn and master all tasks associated with PCB assembly that are assignedAbility to identify electronic componentsAbility to identify solder non-conformance and correct themEffective communication, both verbal and writtenAbility to respond to written and verbal instructionsAbility to work with and around chemicals used in the PCB manufacturing processAbility to work overtime as neededAbility to obtain and renew certifications on assigned equipment and willingness to cross-train in other areas Participate in a continuous improvement activity.Shift is Monday-Friday 07:00-15:30 Powered by Webbtree
