As the NorAm HSE Director, you will help drive safety culture, develop HSE strategy, ensure training assignments to all team members on the account and deploy account, country, and client programs. We are looking for candidates who have:Candidate should have a solid grounding and practical experience working in the pharmaceutical environment and facilities management areas. The candidate should also have a strong background in auditing.Reporting: Ability to write persuasive and effective reports and communications clearly defining findings, their causes, and recommendations.Analytical Skills: Must possess strong analytical skills. The ability to systematically gather information from various sources, analyze information, identify implications of data, draw appropriate conclusions, generate viable alternative solutions to a question or problem, and evaluate the consequences of choosing each alternative.As this role interacts with senior client representatives and senior Sodexo staff, excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are required, with an ability to recognize the values within different cultures and acknowledge different ways of working.Health Safety and Environmental professional, ideally within facilities management.Bachelor’s or advanced degree desired.Minimum ten (10) years of Health, Safety, and Environmental experience with significant recent experience in a senior position.CIH or CSP certifications are highly desired, not required.Established knowledge of health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.Travel across the NorAm region is required for this role and is based out of offices in Rahway, NJ.You will be required to have the COVID-19 vaccine to work at this location.Responsibilities:Responsible for the Health Safety segment support as Health Safety Single Point of Contact (HS-SPOC), strategic planning, deployment, compliance, loss prevention incident investigation, and training within the assigned Zone.
