Company Profile esrhealthcare.com.mysmartjobboard.com Sr. Data Engineer Location: South SFO, CA (Hybrid Onsite role) Duration: 6+ Months Responsibilities · Work within the organization to understand needs, goals and objectives. · Develop secure, scalable, high-performance and reliabl data engineering and analytics solutions in a cloud platform such a AWS or Snowflake. · Solve challenging data integration problems for complicate and diverse data sets, utilizing and coding optimal ETL patterns frameworks, query techniques, and sourcing / merging from structure and unstructured data sources. · Design and develop data pipelines and cloud infrastructur components to support machine learning systems at scale. · Apply software engineering best practices to dat engineering such as source code versioning, CI/CD and automate testing. · Attend and participate in meetings with stakeholders, dat owners and project team members in order to gather requirements provide expertise and resolve issues in the context of a dat solutions project. · Collaborate with business owners, data engineers, dat scientists and IT service owners in a global shared service environment. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Compute Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with additiona experience · 4 - 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Softwar Engineer or in a similar role. · Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, Numpy, PySpark) · Highly experienced in developing using AWS cloud services such as, but not limited to, S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue, Lambda, MWAA DynamoDB, etc. · Experience with GitHub or GitLab. · Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, an building data pipelines · Ability to translate business needs to technica requirements. · Ability to plan, problem solve, and communicate precisel and thoroughly. Preferred Qualifications · Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science Computer Engineering, or related field and additional experience · Strong software/data engineering skills in complex multi-language systems · Experience developing and maintaining systems using ope source software · Knowledge and experience in analytics, data science machine learning and/or NLP.
