You will be responsible for day-to-day administration of the server/network infrastructure and related systems, utilizing cloud provisioning tools, and automating tasks using a scheduler.You ll be highly detail-oriented and comfortable working independently as well as within a team. You ll be learning about and working extensively with Linux, scripting, and AWS.We re small, agile, casual (no suits – shoes optional), and passionate about our mission and the projects we create.We are seeking candidates in PST, AKST, or HST to support the Operations team.This position is open to support 2pm - 10pm EST. There is an on-call pager duty requirement for this role, rotating between team members monthly.RESPONSIBILITIES:Monitor systems and applications including Linux, Windows, and AWS services.Deploy applications across a multitude of servers and operating systems hosted on AWS.Use Bash and Python scripting to automate processes.Build/monitor/troubleshoot/fix Prod/Test/Dev environments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Work with CI/CD tools, tasks schedulers, and Amazon Web ServicesQUALIFICATIONS:3 - 6 years of Linux experience at an internship or on the job3 - 6 years of scripting experience on LinuxStrong understanding of IT infrastructure, subnetting, routing, firewall policies, and best practicesFamiliarity with writing SQL queries to troubleshoot data issues.Familiarity with windows administrationAbility to work independently in a high-pressure environment.Bachelor s degree required.
