Position Summary: : Reports directly to Financial Reporting Supervisor (India) and interfaces with statutory auditors, direct tax and indirect tax consultants. : Actively communicates with other departments and follows up on corrective actions. : Coordinates with other verticals including general ledger, compliance, and reconciliation teams to ensure that information required, supporting both internal and local statutory requirements are obtained and provided in a timely manner. : Perform special studies or analyses from time to time as needed and requested by supervisors and managers. Responsibilities: : Preparing and review of draft financial statements as per the applicable laws : Preparing / reviewing audit schedules including tax audit schedules : Interface with statutory and tax auditors for the completion of audits in the stipulated timelines : Has thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting including ledger scrutiny as well as tax compliances including GST, WHT. Qualifications and Skills: Basic Qualifications: : Bachelor s degree in accounting or a related field and at 3:5 years of accounting experience. : CA (Inter)/ICWA Inter will be added advantage. : Basic knowledge of financial reporting and financials. : Basic skills in the areas of oral and written communications, MS Office suite of applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook). : Thorough knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards. : Should possess knowledge of WHT, GST Tax and Corporate Tax. : Good analytical skills. Additional Qualifications: : Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. : Must have audit experience in a large organization, in terms of interaction and co:ordination with the auditors for the finalization of statutory financials. : Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and applicable accounting methods. : Must be dependable, punctual, conscientious, and function well in a t
