Ensures the mechanical requirements of the packaged equipment are correctly designed and properly integrated with each other. Essential Responsibilities / Expectations : Review Pressure Vessel documents in accordance with the project specifications. : Generate Pressure Vessel Calculations in line with ASME Sec VIII Div 1 or 2 using PV Elite software and/or excel spreadsheets. : Review vendor mechanical designs and documentation : Identify key design factors through detailed review of project specifications : Optimize designs to minimize overall cost of company s products : Ensure Vessel fabrication drawings are technically accurate : Ensure that Vessel fabrication drawings clearly present information to the shop floor : General knowledge of Design, 3D modelling and drafting software : Address technical enquiries and comments from clients and inspectors Educational Qualification Engineering Degree : Mechanical / Experience in Mechanical Engineering 4 years Experience of mechanical design in Oil and Gas or related Industry Packaged equipment experience. Including systems with rotating equipment would be desirable.
