Java Developer About this role: Wells Fargo Gateway is an enterprise grade product platform and a market place built to offer Wells Fargo s banking services in the form of APIs. For instance, it supports the open banking standards of the EU. By offering PSD2 specific functionalities in the form of APIS. The product is in service since 201 6 and it has grown as one of the leading practices within Well Fargo. That allows its business customers to integrate with its wide range of financial products and service offerings. In nutshell it is a combinations of API platform, SDK and Developer Portal offered under a single umbrella. That enables Business and financial solutions/ services to rapidly onboard, integrate and consume the financial solutions and services offered by Wells Fargo, in the form of APIs. This expanding and constantly growing platform solution is in need of talented and passionate developer to support its upcoming and ongoing initiatives. In this role, you will: - Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain - Work with technology and business teams to design, build and implement APIs/ SDK/ Developer Portal - Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid:level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals - Develop reusable components to improve efficiencies Required Qualifications: - Bachelors or higher degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or equivalent practical experience in software development. With a minimum of 8 years of hands on experience - Must have worked in in Agile/Scrum development environment interacting with multiple stakeholders to deliver quality products in a timely manner - Strong analytical, verbal and communication skills - Knowledge on financial services, open banking API development and management is an additional plus Technical Qualifications: Hands on Experience on - Java development with a good understanding on Core Java, Object Oriented development, design patterns, secured coding practices - Back End Technologies: Spring Boot, Spring security, ORM : Hibernate, REST full APIs, Micro services, Containerization, Unit testing frameworks and mock frameworks such as Junit and power mock etc. - Nice to have but not must : Front End Technologies: React Js or Angular Js - Dev Ops, CI/ CD pipeline, with good skills on build and deployment tools such as Maven, Gradle and Jenkins - RDBMS such as Oracle, MS SQL
