Senior business intelligence engineer

Business Intelligence Engineer We are looking for people like us; hardworking, motivated, driven and of course fun This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated BI Analyst to be part of National Pen s Global BI team and be a dedicated member supporting Global Finance leveraging data / BI products in a dynamic, fast paced, global organization. The successful candidate will have a solid work experience coupled with Business Intelligence background and should be comfortable working on their own, or as part of a larger group to deliver best in class data products. What you will do: : GAAP Accounting and SOX compliance support: Liaison with the GL team by creating/updating BI level reporting to assist during month:end close. : Build:out queries to pull from Oracle R12 to OneStream which includes E and O Inventory, Bad debt and R and A trends. : Build/update BI level reports to support SOX compliance, e.g., Revenue and Receivables Cycle, liaison with Technology team to improve/validate shipping confirmation reports to reconcile to AR module during month:end close. : Liaison with Credit and Collections BI team in order to build/validate reports for credit holds, refunds, order confirmations, etc. : Continue to validate BI data against the source data in Oracle General ledger sub:modules (one source of Truth). : Drive automation: Liaison with the Oracle Technology team in order to implement process improvements. : Identify Oracle R12 functionalities not currently being utilized, e.g., streamline Intercompany recording and monthly netting, eliminations mapping, and improve the set:up of allocations, etc. : Implement Oracle approval management engine (AME) in order to get invoice approvals within Oracle. : Support Supply Chain Financing payment process. : FP and A: Liaison with the FP and A team to build Proforma and Budget reporting in OneStream. : Identify FP and A proforma requests to build in OneStream, e.g., net shipping, Logo, set:up fees costs per order at sales channel and country level (currently manual process using BI and UF reports in Excel). : Create uniformed OneStream budget templates that will interface business owners budget source documents into a OneStream loadable format and drive further efficiencies in the budget input process. : Drive the implementation of product, customer, prospect, country and attributed P and Ls in OneStream to support FP and As business partnering initiative. : Income/VAT Tax reporting: assist TAX team with troubleshooting Matrix to OneSource VAT/Sales tax rate variances. : Provide support that the Matrix/Oracle system will automatically calculate the applicable amount of state sales taxes or VAT taxes to be paid by the customers based on certain parameters (Customer billing address, shipping address, type of product and service sold). : Provide assistance to the Inventory management team. : Collaborate with the measurement of campaigns performances for Mail, Web and Telesales channels. : Build reporting for inventory lifecycle management (Excess and Obsolete Reporting). : What we need from you: Degree or proven experience in Computer Science or a related technical field : 4+ years work experience including 2+ years experience in Business Intelligence role. : A rigorous, organized and analytical mind : Experience with SQL working across different database platforms. : Experience with BI tools, preferably Looker. : Experience with building dashboards to support various Finance functions. : Preferably experienced with OneStream EPM : Data preparation and data visualization expertise : A passion for delivering high quality work : A team player with strong analytic, communication and stakeholder relationship management skills : Ability to communicate findings, orally and visually, to a variety of audiences About National Pen National Pen s personalized promotional products are created for an
